 Led by Crepe City’s Kish Kash, along with LCS’ business development manager Marc Chamberlain, the Q&A charted the rich heritage le coq sportif hold in retro running, highlighted by Prince Jamal’s incredibly well preserved archive collection, along with news of fresh releases of og models in the new year.

iPad || Homework (Full Version) || Apple

Apple has released a lengthy two-and-a-half minute ad to introducing the new iPad, its support for Apple Pencil, and how it can be used to benefits a kid's education. 

 It features narrator Mark Fenske solemnly reading Jack Prelutsky’s classic poem "Homework! Oh, Homework!" while a class go out into the field and take it on themselves to explore the concept of gravity.

 After watching them film smashing melons, build bike ramps and simulate tests in augmented reality, the ad finishes with the line "Homework, oh homework. I hate you, you stink" accompanied by a contradicting visual of the proud kids smiling at their day's work. 

 "Together the iPad and Apple Pencil turn mundane tasks like homework into a thrilling exploration of inventive imagination," says Apple. 

 The new 9.7-inch iPad is similar to the existing 9.7-inch iPad, with identical bezels and a Touch ID sensor, but now has Apple Pencil support, which was previously available on iPad Pro models.

 It also has education-specific apps, such as Smart Annotation, which allows teachers to mark pages directly, and Froggipedia, which allows students to virtually dissect frogs using the Apple Pencil.

The Red Stain || Short Film

Rodrigo Saavedra’s stylish and hilariously entertaining The Red Stain debuted at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is an absolute must-watch.

 The short film starts with Billy, a young American in Italy dropping off his white button-down t-shirt at the dry-cleaners.

 The film begins to pick up steam as the shop owners discuss increasingly wild theories about Billy and how exactly his shirt got stained. 

With a lighthearted tone and unabashedly imaginative storyline, it’s easy to overlook that this is a piece of branded content with Francis Ford Coppola Winery.

 As more and more companies turn towards “storytelling” as a means to promote their brand messaging it’s refreshing to see something as creative as The Red Stain.

 Let's hope more brands take a page out of Saavedra’s book and focus on creating tasteful and engaging content where the brand involved almost feels like a pleasant afterthought.

The North Face || A Love Letter to Winter

As a lot of brands start to set their sights on the upcoming hotter, summer season, The North Face is doing the exact opposite, releasing "A Love Letter to Winter" in the form of a two-minute short film. 

 Set to a goosebump-inducing piano cover of "Where Is My Mind" by Maxence Cyrin, it features the brand's Snow Team carving up beautiful mountains and pulling off impossible feats after being dropped at the top by helicopter. 

 Of course, all this is just another standard year for the team at The North Face, but it certainly has us looking forward to the next winter season.

A short film by James Cruickshank telling the story of Converse CONS rider Jamie Platt's recovery from a two-year injury and more generally, about skateboarding in London in winter and the many challenges that entails: rain, icy winds and damp surfaces to name a few.

 Rasche explains his mission for the third chapter of the OUTLAW DIARIES series.

 He left his comfort zone in search for a place where he could be a pioneer again. 

A wild place, where no bike tire has touched the ground before. 

The east is calling. The Wild Wild East. Welcome to the wilderness of Kamchatka, Russia.

 The first part of the series took place in Germany near Patricks hometown. 

The second one brought him to British Columbia, the mecca of mountainbiking, following the tracks of all those freeride legends that inspired his way of riding. 

For the third part it was time to seek for something new.

 Kamchatka is a peninsula in the Russian far east. 

It’s located in the Pacific Ocean north of Japan and has a wild coastline with 160 volcanoes rising from sea level up to 4.700 m. Until 1990 Kamchatka was a restricted military area that was closed to the public. 

For mountain bikers this part of east Siberia is still no mans land. 

Together with Patrick and his longtime friend and photographer Constantin Fiene, El Flamingo Films visited the Russian wilderness for two weeks in late September 2017. 

The weather on the peninsula is as rough as the landscape and they had to learn that nature is the boss in Siberia.

 Ever dreamed of heli biking on volcanos with an old Russian army helicopter? 

Here we go.

IN MYANMAR || Short Film

Myanmar, officially the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and formerly known as Burma, is a sovereign state in Southeast Asia.

 Myanmar is bordered by India and Bangladesh to its west, Thailand and Laos to its east and People's Republic of China to its north and northeast.

 Firdaus Hashim was in Myanmar for seven days to learn new cultures, traditions, and to explore few of the main places in the country. 

 The journey starts from Yangon, to Inle Lake in the state of Shan by bus, to the majestic place of thousand temples in Bagan by bus and back to Yangon by plane.

Nike has been on a role with great new ads recently ("Nothing Beats A Londoner" is a must watch), and it continues with it’s latest clip titled "Choose Go". 

 The ad asks the question: What would happen if the world stopped spinning? With a solution being found that if everyone on earth runs in the same direction, they can get it going again. 

 There’s funny appearances from the likes of Bill Nye and Kevin Hart, as well as a whole host of world class athletes including Kobe Bryant, Ge Manqi, Simone Biles and Edinson Cavani. 

 A hamster also chips in with some running too.

 The ad focusses on Nike’s new React running shoes.
