Carhartt WIP
has unveiled an experimental 25-minute skate video called Öctagon.
Directed by Joaquim Bayle, the film ditches the usual skate video
piece-by-piece format in favour of overall storytelling and unique
cinematography.
"The Öctagon is totalitarian and omniscient. Billions of data are
generated by this independent system and build a unique reality," reads
the video's rather perplexing description. "Individuals live within the
Öctagon. Geographic space doesn’t exist for real, it is not tangible but
still defined by a multitude of data."
Skaters in the video include Sylvain Tognelli, Bram De Cleen and Joseph Biais. Check it out below.

You Won't Regret That Tattoo || Short Documentary
Tattoos are a prevalent form of body art within street culture,
containing its own aesthetic language and conventions that run a common
theme. However, they also embody a deeply intimate visual representation
of one’s own personal history — a theme that the short documentary “You
Won’t Regret That Tattoo” explores by interviewing some of the older
generation about what and why they choose to leave a permanent mark on
their bodies. Discussing everything from their first tattoo, the most
meaningful, and also any they have regretted, the documentary is a
revealing, yet humanizing portrait of these people and several lifetimes
worth of memories. Enjoy the 12-minute film below.
