Surf in Siberia Arctic Ocean || Short Movie

The movie tells us about the Russian surfers riding in the severe conditions of The Far North. Only few ones have tried surfing at this latitude, even fewer have tried it in Russia. The movie's been shot during one year at different locations in the Murmansk region. The camera crew has filmed different seasons, conditions and moods of those sites. Having overcome all of the difficulties and having been inspired by the northern spirits, our heroes share their impressions about the places they've visited, the past of their country and their childhood.

A huge amount of night clubs have been closed down all across the country over the last decade, so VICE presenter Clive Martin headed out to illegal raves in London, Wales and beyond, talking to organisers and party goers to find out what it takes to keep the scene alive.

Samsung Galaxy Surfboard || Short Video

"Surfing can be a solitary sport," says Samsung. "The surfer, alone in the middle of the ocean. Disconnected from his coach and fans. What if Samsung could change this?" The result is the Galaxy Surfboard, a smart surfboard created over a period of 18 months by Leo Burnett and Johnny Cabianca specially for surfer Gabriel Medina. Once the surfer's Galaxy S7 is connected to the board using a specially designed waterproof (we're assuming) compartment, he's directly in touch with his fans and his coach, all of whom can send him messages which are then displayed on an LED screen. It also features real-time condition updates, such as wind speed and wave size. Watch the video below for a demonstration.

At the Archives || Ollie Evans' Stone Island Collection

Much like Supreme, Stone Island is one of those cult brands that people treat like Pokémon, often compelling them to dredge through eBay and every other bastion of deadstock clothing in search of rare vintage pieces from the brand’s distant past. Ollie Evans is one such Stoney enthusiast, who lets us peer into his enviable collection of rare S.I. wares.

Ollie gives us a rundown of the brand’s history, its personal appeal to him, as well as a glimpse at some of the ultra-limited edition pieces that comprise his archive, which include pieces from the brand’s second season in 1983. Looking at such a broad spectrum of Stoney products, we get to see how the brand has evolved over the years, and how certain materials weave their way through seasons. It’s a unique snapshot of an incredibly storied label.

Everyone likes to have a coffee in their own particular way, but there are plenty of ways out there that many people haven't even tried or even thought of trying. If you look further afield than the typical high-street coffee chain you could discover some unusual and surprising coffee combinations. To help broaden people’s coffee knowledge, Buzzed Blue have produced this brief video guide demonstrating many ways coffee is prepared internationally. They show examples of coffee served from Portugal, Germany, Vietnam, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Austria and Ireland. Some are more unusual than others, a ‘Kaisermelange' from Austria for example includes an egg yolk mixed with honey and black coffee, while others like the classic 'Irish Coffee' will be familiar to many. Anders Nordlow is the searching for sugar man of skateboarding. He is a creative genius on a skateboard, but yet, unless you live in LA and have skated with him…you most likely have never heard of him. I met Anders back in 2009 while filming my first documentary, We Are Skateboarders…I recognized then that he was starting to do out of the norm tricks….but as the years went by I would see the progression…and I realized his mind was like no one else's Ive ever met. Anders has never had his own filmer, but when I told him I wanted to make a documentary on him, he gave me 76 gigabytes of footage just of tricks of himself. Thats probably enough to make 25 parts. I wanted to find out how he went from being just another kid from LA who could do any normal trick, to possibly being one the most unique skateboarders alive. - Ben Duffy

Table Talk || Chad Muska

The latest instalment of Table Talk features the man who brought the boombox to skateboarding, Mr Chad Muska. Once hailed as one of the “most marketable pros that skateboarding has ever seen” by Skin Phillips, Muska’s now on a new trip that sees him stepping into the art realm as discovered by our host and skate legend, Chris Pastras. Originally famous for bringing the boombox and thrift store chic to the street skating world, unfortunately Muska’s body’s not quite playing ball, and in the absence of being able to skate quite like he used to, he’s turned his unquenchable energy to art.

Using elements that are familiar to him from of his skate career: Cement (duh), resin (wheels), steel (trucks), and wood (duh), Muska’s creating super unique minimalist pieces. He admits that skateboarding will always be his numero uno, but in place of being able to throw down quite how he used to, the art thing’s pretty cool.
