Strange Beasts || Short Film

Strange Beasts is a short sci-fi film directed by London filmmaker Magali Barbé which is currently featured as a "Staff Picks" over on Vimeo. The near-future tale takes place over just five-minutes, but it’s as powerful and unsettling as any recent Black Mirror episode. 

 During the film, a games developer called Victor explains that "Strange Beasts" is an augmented reality game which allows you to create, grow and customise your own virtual pet. Everything seems harmless and innocent enough as he demonstrates the game and introduces us to his daughter and her virtual pet, but then the film reveals a disturbing twist. Watch below!
