Legacy of 'King of Kowloon' graffiti writer || Short Film
The works of the late Hong Kong graffiti writer Tsang Tsou-choi are being given a new lease on life thanks to efforts by the local art community to restore and preserve his art.
The graffiti by the self-proclaimed “King of Kowloon”, who died in 2007 at the age of 85, used to be considered vandalism and was covered and painted over.
Now a new generation of visual artists are taking inspiration from Tsang’s work.
