My Nature Documentary || Animated Short Film

My Nature Documentary is an animated short by Noah Rappaport. Adapted from a story written by Jack Handey, the film has played at a few film festivals and won Best Animated Short at the Santa Monica Film Festival, and third place at the Athens International Film Festival.

Surfaces || A Vermont Skateboarding Adventure

Filmmaker Ian Durkin has put together a short film featuring a Vermont skate crew who go by the name of The Worble. With some help from outdoor brand Poler, the team took skateboarding out of its normal urban context and cruised around the leafy Green Mountain State to try and find (and build) as many skate-able obstacles as possible. The inspiration for the trip and video comes from a quote which reads: "We live amidst surfaces, and the true art of life is to skate well on them." Check it out below!

What Difference Does It Make: A Film About Making Music

What Difference Does It Make: A Film About Making Music is a feature length film by the Red Bull Music Academy to mark it’s 15th anniversary. The Film, shot in 2013 at Red Bull’s New York Academy, is directed by Ralf Schlemberg and delves deeply into the challenges, triumphs and encounters that musicians experience. It features the likes of Brian Eno, James Murphy, Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder.

As well as a feature length film to mark their anniversary, Red Bull Music produced For The Record, a book consisting of conversations with masterminds and trailblazers in music today.

Hanksy Presents: Surplus Candy

Self-proclaimed “street fartist” Hanksy organized an event that saw over 40 artists paint the inside of an East Village brownstone over the course of six days. When completed, it was open to the public but only for a mere two hours. The building itself is scheduled to be demolished. Check out the video below to see how it went down.
