Completely clueless about architecture? Now you can learn 26 of the world's top architects in just one-and-a-half minutes thanks to this "ABC of Architects" video from Andrea Stinga and Federico Gonzalez. Sadly, a lot of great architects were left out as the filmmakers could only include one for each letter, but they did put in an extra effort to include architects of all different nationalities. Watch below!

Wall Dogs of NYC

In an age with instant communication at your fingertips and digital marketing on every platform, there are those who still get out messages the old-fashioned way, with a paintbrush and some attitude. They call themselves “wall dogs,” says one veteran of the trade, “because we are chained to a wall all day by our safety harness, and we work like dogs.” Vocativ spent a day with these blue-collar artists as they paint advertisements high above the streets of New York City.

Bern Hyperlapsed

Bern Hyperlapsed is a short portrait of the Old City of Bern. It merges a view on traditional sights with the novel visual impression allowed by hyperlapse photography. The film consists of around 3500 single pictures, mainly taken between December 2013 and March 2014.

Forrest Gump by Wes Anderson

Filmmaker Wes Anderson has a pretty recognisable style, often opting for the same orange typography, neatly centered shots, and kooky soundtracks. Keeping these signature techniques in mind, Vimeo user Louis Paquet has remade the opening credits to classic 1994 American movie Forrest Gump as if it had been directed by Anderson instead of Robert Zemeckis.

Havana Bikes

Cuba underwent a bicycle revolution in the 1990s during its five year 'Special Period.' Oil was scarce as a result of tough economic constraints, and bicycles where introduced as an alternative mode of transport.
Years later, the transportation crisis subsided and motorised vehicles returned, and the country's bicycle culture took a hit. Now, new bikes are difficult to come by and parts are not readily available, yet many Cubans still use bicycles daily and, despite the limited resources, a handful of mechanics provide a service to those who rely on their bikes in their everyday lives.
