The Life & Death of an Iphone

Clever short film The Life & Death of an iPhone is shot completely from the phone's point-of-view. It begins right from the phones inception in the factory, moving on to it finding an owner, where it plays out its life and unfortunate death before finally being saved by an opportunistic buyer. The 7-minute short uses clever editing tricks to move seamlessly between shots, made possible thanks to Vimeo’s award-winning editing app for iOS, Cameo.

PLC goes big in his 11th season on the North Shore

It has been a big couple of weeks for Reunion Island-turned-Portuguese local Pierre Louis Costes.

The former IBA and ISA world champion had only just celebrated his marriage with long time girlfriend Rute Penedo before having to pack his bags and head to Itacoatiara, Brazil for the opening round of the APB World Tour.

And to top things off, his highly anticipated Hawaiian season web clip, presented by Rip Curl, has finally been released.

The last winter season was PLC's 11th visit to Hawaii, a place he has made the trek to every year since he was just 13 years old. It is with this experience and respect in the lineup that Pierre believes he had his best season ever on the north shore.

And by looking at the quality of waves and moves in this clip, not many would disagree with him.
