"Zac (savedtattoo.com) was looking for a simple and small lightweight bike for ripping around to and from work. We chose a 1971 Honda CL100 Scrambler as a platform and found one in MA. A couple of weeks of wrenching later, we turned over a nice modified stocker with a simple and clean profile. All new rubber components, bearings, seals, gaskets, electrical, suspension, front end, and paint."

"After flying to an altitude of 128,100 feet (39,045 meters) in a helium-filled balloon, Felix Baumgartner completed a record breaking jump from the edge of space. Felix reached a maximum speed of 833 mph (1,342.8 km/h) through the near vacuum of the stratosphere before being slowed by the atmosphere later during his 4:20 minute long freefall.
The 43-year-old Austrian skydiving expert also broke two other world records (highest freefall, highest manned balloon flight), leaving the one for the longest freefall to project mentor Colonel Joe Kittinger."

"The most striking element in Kenzo’s Spring/Summer 2013 show at Paris Fashion Week was the 22 × 8 meter-high cube onto which projections from eight synchronized 22,000-lumen projectors created busy and colorful scenography. Conceived and implemented by New York-based artist and director Kenzo Digital (no direct relation to the brand), the idea was to explore the boundaries between abstraction and reality, using an animation based on the new line from Kenzo (the fashion label). Creators SuperUber served as technical consultants on the project."

"The suggestion that “tattoos are not just for sailors any more” is a familiar one. It might be surprising to learn, then, that the popular media has been reporting the arrival of tattooing in high society for nearly one hundred years. To celebrate the release of “Forever: The New Tattoo”, Gestalten hosted an evening of informative and entertaining talks by renowned tattoo artists Alex Binnie and Duncan X, as well as by heavily tattooed art historian Matt Lodder, author of the book’s preface. Further tattoo protagonists, namely Jon John, Liam Sparkes and Zoe Binnie, attended the event at the Gestalten Space in Berlin and gave us additional insight."
