It was shot by Italian filmmaker, Leonardo Dalessandri on the streets of Marrakech, Essaouira, Fes el Bali and Casablanca, and I seriously cannot even begin to describe what I just saw. I have no clue how he got some of the shots, and because it’s so fast-paced and so much is going on even in half-second cuts, I will be watching this one at least a handful times more. Wow."

A Boy And His Atom || The World's Smallest Movie

"By magnifying atoms over 100 million times, IBM Research were able to create 'the world's smallest movie,' which now holds the Guinness World Records record for the World's Smallest Stop-Motion Film. Using a scanning tunnelling microscope, the researchers were able to move thousands of carbon monoxide molecules (two atoms stacked on top of each other) to create a basic animation telling the story of a boy and his pet atom. After doing a little dance and playing around, the boy throws the arom into the cloudy sky where the words 'THINK IBM' are written out. According to IBM, 'the ability to move single atoms — the smallest particles of any element in the universe — is crucial to IBM's research in the field of atomic memory. But even nanophysicists need to have a little fun.' Watch below." 

Life Drawing at The Book Club

"To promote the life-drawing classes at east London's bar/cafe The Book Club, creative duo Wriggles & Robins created a short stop-motion film which sees 10 artists draw the model in various positions. The resulting drawings, which show the model from all different angles due to the positioning of the easels, have then been animated together to showcase each artist's different style and to give the effect that the model is spinning.
