Why Real Champagne Is So Expensive || So Expensive
Champagne is only true champagne if it's made in the Champagne region of northern France.
All other sparkling wines made outside of this region, even those from neighboring parts of France, must be labeled differently.
Champagne often costs double the price of other sparkling wines, such as prosecco or cava.
A decent-quality bottle of it can cost you anywhere from $50 to $300, and vintage bottles often sell for thousands.

Johnny Depp's Notorious Nightclub || DARKSIDE OF THE 90's
VICE meets members of the Miami Style Gods (MSG), a graffiti crew based in Miami, and follows them on a night of “bombing” — leaving their tags on highway signs, walls, garage doors, bridges, and more.
Crews like MSG are prolific, and go out of their way to tag as many locations, as many times as possible, no matter what the cost.
But with the rise of social media and the gentrification of now art districts like Wynwood, where graffiti is essentially permitted, we are now seeing corporate appropriation of this underground subculture that corporate America once looked down upon that is now changing the graffiti world for good or bad.

A Time To Be So Small || Short Film
“I sat amongst the bones for a while and watched the ocean as it churned, thinking that Africa was the most wild and devastatingly beautiful place that I would ever have the privilege of knowing”
And although we’ve spent much of our history coming up with ways to detect these lies by tracking physiological changes in their tellers, these methods have proved unreliable.
Is there a more direct approach?
Noah Zandan uses some famous examples of lying to illustrate how we might use communications science to analyze the lies themselves.
