Ballantine's Presents INSA's Space GIF-ITI
London based artist INSA
has created the world’s largest animated painting in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, with the help of some satellite photos and a load of people who
contributed to painting a mural large enough to be clearly visible from
space. Over four days a surface of 14,379m2 was painted four times under
his instruction, to be ready for the satellite to pass overhead and
capture an image each day.
The ambitious and giant artwork is pretty impressive. Watch it being created and see the final result in the film below.
