National Geographic || What Would You Do If Money Didn't Matter?
National Geographic has showcased a short film by Tragedy & Hope
Productions. It presents visuals set to a poignant speech by late
philosopher Alan Watts, who explains why money doesn't really matter and
we should all focus on spending our time doing what we like.
"Forget the money, because if you say that getting the money is the most
important thing, you will spend your life completely wasting your
time," says Watts. "You'll be doing things you don't like doing in order
to go on living, that is to say in order to go on doing things you
don't like doing, which is stupid. Better to have a short life doing
what you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way."
Watch the film below (then quit your job).
