PIPELINE || A Peter King Film is a raw, immersive portrait of surfing’s most sacred wave — captured entirely during the historic 2024/2025 North Shore winter season.

Shot from the iconic backyard of the A New Earth Project house, PK’s camera is always rolling. With rare proximity and trusted access, he documents moments few have ever witnessed — from historic, flawless barrels at the Banzai Pipeline to unfiltered conversations with the surfers who risk everything riding it.

Pipeline is not just a wave. It is a proving ground. A cathedral of consequence. A place where reputations are made, careers are defined, and the margin between triumph and catastrophe is razor thin.

Through PK’s lens and the original soundtrack by Ron Artis II, viewers experience the full arc of a season that will be remembered for generations — the swell cycles, the wipeouts, the preparation, the fear management, the camaraderie, and the quiet rituals before paddling into one of the most dangerous waves on Earth.

Still, that doesn't deter them from the thrill of riding the waves.

"Some day black, some day pink!" || The story of Palermo FC

After an unforgettable weekend in Hamburg for Episode 1, we travelled down the continent to visit the enticing city of Palermo.

Palermo FC shirts are famous the world over. Few teams play in pink and black, and yet their story is so much more than just one about club colours. From the legendary names like Edinson Cavani and Luca Toni that have passed through, to the eclectic mix of kit manufacturers who have produced I Rosanero jerseys, there is so much to explore as someone interested in football and football kits. We wanted to see if we could pick up any vintage Palermo kits during a weekend trip, and also what it was like to watch a match at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.

This documentary tells the full story of that exhibition — from the first works placed on the walls, to the private view that brought Los Angeles to London, to the public opening that followed.

Spanning more than five decades of artistic evolution rooted in Los Angeles, the film traces the development of a distinctly West Coast visual language — from Chicano calligraphy and graffiti to photography and contemporary abstraction — and explores how these artists have transformed street-born visual codes into some of the most compelling works in contemporary art. 'Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage' is on view at Woodbury House, 29 Sackville Street, Mayfair, London, until 24 April 2026. Visitors are welcome during normal gallery hours.
