Push to Pedal || Documentary

A skateboarding and cycling experience/journey on the island of Fuerteventura.

 'Push to Pedal' is a documentary about four skaters, turned-bike-builders who crafted custom frames specially for Carhartt WIP skaters (Joseph Biais, Joe Gavin, Giovanni Grazzani and Pete Ruikka).

 The group then hit the road together in Fuerteventura/ Canary Islands for a week long adventure of cycling, skating and exploration.

 For one week, the whole crew stayed at the Casa Maccaroni, in Lajares, which is located in the middle of a desert pierced by only a few little volcanoes, in the north part of the island. From there they would cycle to spots on a average 45 km a day. Going to cities and villages, skating, coming back.

 With no training, this trip turned out to be pretty tough for the skaters, but made them realize skate tours can be more than just sitting in a van to get to spots. A memorable experience for most of them.

 Check it out below and get inspired!

"Wee Day Out" explores the rural landscape around Edinburgh in a film that sets out to capture the simple fun of a ride in the country with moments of incredible riding and a touch of humor.

Danny pulls off never-seen-before tricks, most of which would normally be assumed impossible on a mountain bike, like leaping onto a single train track, turning a hay bale into a giant unicycle, riding over a cottage, and disappearing into a 6ft puddle.

Elements || Art film by Maxim Zhestkov

Elements is an absolutely gorgeous experimental art film by Maxim Zhestkov about nature, physics, art and love.

 More than 2 billion elements / particles governed by tensions and forces of nature were used to tell stories and show emotions through the motion of collective behavior.

 The film is a trial to explore the idea that everything around us and inside us is made from simple elements / blocks which can be arranged in complex relationships and become compound structures.

 We could project this idea into emotions, behaviours, thought processes, relationships, life, planets and the universe.

 Your eyes will pop...

Red Eye || Rob Machado

Who better to feature in a series about nomadic travel than a man who’s been known as The Drifter for nearly a decade?

Rob Machado breezes through airports, drizzling his silky waveriding approach at beaches all over the world. Here, the goofyfooter (who came painfully close to being a world champ when he was still competing) lights up some French beachbreaks with fellow Momentum icon Taylor Knox

Things to note? At 43, Rob still absolutely rips, and looks more electrified on that Firewire twin fish than ever. Stab suggests that he'd still fare very, very well on the World Tour. And, Taylor is surfing better now than when he was competing. It seems that Taylor has come to enjoy his post-tour years.
