Ballantine's Presents INSA's Space GIF-ITI

London based artist INSA has created the world’s largest animated painting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the help of some satellite photos and a load of people who contributed to painting a mural large enough to be clearly visible from space. Over four days a surface of 14,379m2 was painted four times under his instruction, to be ready for the satellite to pass overhead and capture an image each day.

The ambitious and giant artwork is pretty impressive. Watch it being created and see the final result in the film below.

Head over to insaland.com to see more of INSA’s work.
