Coolhunting has released a new short film which documents the process behind the manufacture of surfboards at Union Surfboards - a small company based in Brooklyn, NYC.

"Surfboards should be catered to the individual," says brand co-founder Chris Williams. "It's great making custom surfboards because we can actually focus on the things that the customer really wants to do with it, and optimise the board and its design around those objectives […] In New York, you surf small waves, windy waves, you take whatever you can get."
