Airwalk Classics || Jeff Staple in Japan

Airwalk celebrates its 30th anniversary with the launch of a new label: Airwalk Classics. Enlisting Jeff Staple as Strategic Creative Advisor and designating UNLMTD as manufacturing and distribution partners, the Airwalk brand presents a campaign video for the initiative. Titled “Designed in Japan,” the video documents Jeff Staple’s partnership with Shigeyuki Kunii, creative director of Tokyo imprint mita sneakers, exploring the intercultural exchange between Japanese and American streetwear. The Airwalk Classics collection will drop this fall, with a redux of the brand’s iconic sneaker, “The One.” Reconstructed in a slimmer silhouette and three different colorways, “The Random,” “The Pearl” and “The Bloc” will all be available in October at select retailers.
